On November 28, a video titled “Let’s talk about haze-flirting l KINO X YUGYEOM l How I Met KINO” was published on the YouTube channel of PENTAGON member Kino.
In the video, Kino and GOT7 member Yugyeom discussed various topics, including their time as trainees.
Particularly, Yugyeom confessed that he used to like TWICE’s Jihyo back in 8th grade, stating, “I had feelings for her for a while.”
Hearing this, Kino made a shocked expression before responding, “I used to like Jihyo noona too.”
When Yugyeom expressed that Kino’s crush on Jihyo was news to him, Kino said, “You didn’t know? I know you knew about it. Jihyo noona knew too.”
According to Kino, GOT7’s Jackson teased him a lot because of this crush.
“During trainee gatherings, he would ask me, ‘Kino, be honest, who do you like? You like Jihyo, don’t you?’ I admitted it, and the next day, he was like, ‘Everyone, Kino likes Jihyo!’ After that, I felt so awkward around her for a while”, the PENTAGON member recalled.
Meanwhile, it’s known that Kino used to be a trainee at JYP Entertainment alongside GOT7 and TWICE before moving to Cube Entertainment and debuting with PENTAGON.
On the other hand, Yugyeom is not the only GOT7 member that has a crush on a member of TWICE. In the past, BamBam confessed that he had a crush on TWICE’s Nayeon, and Nayeon even knew about it.
