2024 AAA Winners: Kim Soo-hyun Won Actor Daesang, NewJeans Received Daesang Artist of the Year

The 9th Asian Artist Awards (2024 AAA) took place at IMPACT Challenger Hall 1-2 in Bangkok, Thailand on the evening of December 27th. The event was hosted by MCs Ryu Jun-yeol, Jang Won-young and Sung Han-bin.

Actor Byun Woo-seok, singer Kim Hye-yoon, singer Lim Young-woong and the girl group NiziU won Popularity Awards, which was voted by global fans. Byun Woo-seok looked shy when he appeared on the stage and fans cheered loudly. He said, “Thank you to all the fans who helped me receive this award. I will cherish your love and will not take it for granted. I will do my best as an actor”. Kim Hye-yoon also expressed her feelings, saying “Thank you so much for loving ‘Lovely Runner’. I want to thank all the fans and will repay you guys with better acting performances in the future”.

Kim Soo-hyun was honored with Actor of the Year. At this award ceremony alone, the actor received 3 awards in total, including AAA Hot Trend Award and AAA Fabulous Award. Taking the stage, Kim Soo-hyun confessed, “Thank you so much. I sincerely thank everyone who loved the drama ‘Queen of Tears’ and my fans for supporting me”
