On December 12, SBS revealed the celebratory stage lineup for the 2024 SBS Drama Awards, which will take place on December 21.
First, Kim Hyung-seo (BIBI), who showcased her diverse charms as a new member of “The Fiery Priest 2”, will collaborate with Go Kyu-pil and Ahn Chang-hwan for an extraordinary performance. They are set to present a live rendition of “Bam Yang Gang”, which swept domestic and international music charts this year.
In addition, the hottest dance crew of 2024, La Chica, will open the awards ceremony with a grand show. Known for choreographing hits like aespa’s “Whiplash”, “Supernova” and IVE’s “I AM”, La Chica is a team shaping the latest trends in dance. For the ceremony, they will elevate the atmosphere with an original Christmas carol choreography, exclusive to this event. The team members will make surprise appearances throughout the stage, delivering a K-pop choreography remix performance that heightens anticipation.
The night will also feature a celebratory performance by the trending girl group (G)I-DLE, who dominated the year. Having won Record of the Year at the 2024 Melon Music Awards (MMA), (G)I-DLE has solidified their status as a major force in the music industry. They will perform a medley of their hits, including the irresistibly addictive “Super Lady” and “Fate”.
Furthermore, a special stage featuring the cast of SBS’s upcoming 2025 dramas will also be presented. This segment will tease next year’s highly anticipated dramas, sparking curiosity about which actors will take the stage.
The 2024 SBS Drama Awards, hosted by Shin Dong-yup, Kim Hye-yoon and Kim Ji-yeon, will be broadcast live on December 21 at 8:35 PM KST.
