On December 25th, 2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon took place at Inspire Arena in Yeongjongdo, Incheon.
Famous for their massive-scale performances and spectacular live stages during year-end broadcasts, 2NE1 made their first reappearance on the stage of SBS Gayo Daejeon in 10 years since 2014. This was also their first year-end stage in 9 years, following the 2015 Mnet MAMA.

Starting with CL’s powerful opening shout, 2NE1 performed their hit songs, including “Come Back Home”, “Fire”, “I Don’t Care”, “UGLY”, and “I am The Best”, showing off strong charisma befitting their nickname of a “Legendary Girl Group”.
In particular, 2NE1 chose to perform live on an AR sound source, boasting vocals and stage presence so strong they turned the event into their solo concernt. Additionally, alongside CL’s powerful rap and Minzy’s energetic dances, including her iconic splits, Sandara Park drew attention with her bold and unique hairstyle. Park Bom also showcased her stunning visual reminiscent of her prime day after dieting.
The girl group’s skillful stage manners and stable live performance despite intense choreography truly made for an unrivaled presence.

Celebrating the group’s 15th debut anniversary, 2NE1 reunited as a full group for the first time in 8 years. From October 4 to 6, they held their “2024 2NE1 CONCERT WELCOME BACK IN SEOUL” at the Olympic Hall in Seoul Olympic Park. They are currently carrying out a world tour.
On the other hand, contrary to 2NE1 slaying on stage, G-Dragon’s performance at the 2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon left much to be desired.
In particular, despite being the last performer, G-Dragon showed a somewhat unstable pitch on stage that day. The male idol’s voice was buried in the AR sound source, so it was almost impossible to hear his live vocals.

There were also opinions that he slurred his lyrics several times and that his singing style of scratching his throat was uncomfortable to listen to, making for G-Dragon’s 1st skill controversy ever since his debut.
However, some people argued that G-Dragon kept fiddling with his earphones, suggesting a possible microphone problem.
