According to YG Entertainment on December 12, 2NE1 will perform at the 2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon to be held on December 25 at the Incheon Inspire Arena. This marks their first appearance at the Gayo Daejeon since 2014 and their first year-end performance since the 2015 MAMA—a gap of about nine years.

2NE1’s return is garnering significant attention as they have consistently dominated year-end broadcasts with their grand-scale and unique live performances. Notably, their 2015 MAMA performance, uploaded to their official YouTube channel, surpassed 50 million views and remains a “legendary stage” among music fans.

Adding to the excitement is the group’s ongoing Asia tour, which kicked off in Seoul last October. Amidst a “ticketing frenzy”, they have reaffirmed their unparalleled stage presence and explosive charisma, captivating audiences and solidifying their irreplaceable status in the industry.

YG Entertainment commented, “Despite their packed tour schedule, the members were determined to create a special memory for their fans in celebration of their 15th debut anniversary. They plan to repay the love they’ve received with their best performance yet, so please look forward to it.”

Meanwhile, 2NE1 is actively engaging with fans worldwide through their “2024-25 2NE1 Asia Tour [Welcome Back]”. Most of their shows have sold out, with stops in Manila, Jakarta, Kobe and Hong Kong, followed by concerts in Tokyo, Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Ho Chi Minh City and Macau, further fueling the excitement.
