On January 13, a post was made on the popular Korean forum theqoo with the title “Proving that Korean drama material is not fiction.”
In this post, a netizen attached images of an article about a Chinese couple in their wedding day. During the wedding, the broom’s mother found out the bride was actually her lost daughter. Everyone thought they wouldn’t be able to get married because it would become an incest. However, the mother revealed that she adopted the broom to make up for the sadness of losing her daughter. After all, they’re completely unrelated, so they can get married. The bride later revealed that she was more happy to find her real family than to get married.
Upon reading the article, many Korean netizens were shocked at its twists and turns, leaving comments such as,
