Lisa is busy with her international schedules these days, making Korean fans wonder if she forgot about them.
Lisa attended a charity concert in France and was treated as a VIP by France’s First Lady Brigitte Macron. Her moves are in stark contrast to other members who are actively engaged in various activities in Korea while expanding their communication channels with their fans.
On the 27th (local time), France 2 broadcasted a recording of ‘Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes’ held at the Accor Arena in Paris the day before (26th).
Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes is a charity concert hosted by the Hospital Foundation, led by the wife of French President Emmanuel Macron, Brigitte Macron. First started 34 years ago, this year’s concert included performances by Lisa, Stray Kids, Pharrell Williams, DJ Snake, and ASAP Rocky.
Last year, BLACKPINK was invited, but only Lisa attended this year. On this day, Lisa was completely surrounded by the spotlight and VIP treatment.
Afterwards, Lisa wrote on her personal account, “Last night was amazing. Thank you so much for this unforgettable night. Nice to meet you French BLINK again, Love you.” However, many Korean fans are upset that Lisa is focusing on her international activities and hasn’t had any projects in Korea.
Lisa’s moves are quite different from those of other members of BLACKPINK. Jennie, who founded her personal label “ODD ATELIER” last year, appeared on KBS for the first time since her debut with “The Seasons – Lee Hyo-ri’s Red Carpet” and performed her solo song “You & Me.” She will also appear on tvN’s new entertainment show “Apartment 404.” “Apartment 404” is a reality mystery show with a six person cast, including Yoo Jae-suk, Cha Tae-hyun, Oh Na-ra, Yang Se-chan, Jennie and Lee Jung-ha.
Jisoo, who already made her major drama debut with “Snowdrop,” will make her screen debut through the movie “Omniscient Reader.” The movie “Omniscient Reader,” which is based on the Naver web novel of the same name, is a story about an ordinary office worker who goes on a journey to save the world as the web novel he read becomes reality. Jisoo plays the role of Lee Ji-hye, a colleague who overcomes crises with the novel’s main character Yoo Joong-hyuk (played by Lee Min-ho). Jisoo will make her screen debut with this movie, and will work with Ahn Hyo-seop, Chae Soo-bin, and Nana.
Rosé also made fans happy by releasing “Season’s Greeting” at the end of last year. She repaid fans’ love by releasing pictures of herself spending a warm Christmas with her dog, Hank, at a cabin in the snowy forest.
