Through this drama, Lee Yi-kyung impressed drama fans by showing a different image with his three-dimensional acting that perfectly portrayed Park Min-hwan, who is helpless to the point that arouses anger, with his own personality.

Born in 1980, Lee Yi-kyung made his debut in 2012 in the movie  “White Night”. Since then, he has been working nonstop in both dramas and movies. In addition to acting, he also gained recognition from Yoo Jae-suk and famous entertainers for his outstanding entertainment skills. The actor became widely known to the public after becoming a cast member of “Hangout With Yoo”.

Although the public is already familiar with Lee Yi-kyung’s cheerfulness and bright energy of his comedy characters in “Welcome to Waikiki” and “6/45”, the actor has showcased his wide acting spectrum in “Marry My Husband” by digesting all genres, from romance to comedy, in one drama.

There were times when attention was drawn to Lee Yi-kyung because of his family background instead of his performance as an actor. Appearing on “Knowing Bros” in 2020, the actor made headlines when revealing that his father is a former CEO of a large company. However, he emphasized, “Despite that, I’ve never opened my hand to ask my father for money ever since I dropped out of school. I’ve been living with the money I earned myself since I was 18”.

Receiving the tricky question asking “Aren’t you doing broadcasts as a hobby?”, Lee Yi-kyung firmly replied, “Absolutely not. I’m very proud of myself. I’ve never received a won from my parents.”

When Lee Yi-kyung visited Namdaemun Market for a “Hangout With Yoo” recording recently, a store owner recognized him and called him “bad guy”. This means his villain acting was very successful. It’s one of the greatest achievements in Lee Yi-kyung’s career that he has finally been able to prove his true value as an actor through “Marry My Husband”.

As there are 6 more episodes until “Marry My Husband” ends, the viewers are looking forward to seeing what Lee Yi-kyung will show in the future.
