Following Yoo Jae-seok, IU and Kang Ha-neul are making heart-warming gestures in the entertainment industry
IU attended the wedding of Jeon So-hyun, her backup vocalist and former contestant of SBS’ “K-Pop Star 4” on February 3rd. IU sang “The Meaning of You” as a congratulatory song, introducing the bride as someone she was blending her voice with for 10 years.”
IU is one of the stars who has a lot of interesting stories about weddings. She even gave a tiara to her best friend Jiyeon at her wedding, and sang at the weddings of Yoo In-na’s manager as well as Lee Jong-seok’s sister.
ITZY member Yuna used to appear on MBC’s “Radio Star,” which aired on July 31, and revealed she received a special gift from IU. “We were once a guest at IU’s concert. I was so honored to see that five of us entered the waiting room, and there was a shopping bag (of luxury brands) with a handwritten letter,” she recalled. According to Yuna, each member received a bag from a different brand that suited them. “It was twice as touching,” she said.
Yoo Jae-seok is also famous for taking good care of his colleagues and juniors. Big Bang’s Daesung, who he met on the SBS entertainment show “Family Outing,” revealed Yoo visited him in person when he was hospitalized during his military service.
On KBS2’s “Boss in the Mirror,” Yoo’s junior Kim Ji-young revealed a good story about this MC, saying, “When he meets his juniors, he always gives us pocket money.” As if to prove this story, Yoo Jae-seok gave 200,000 won as congratulatory money to a staff member who started as the youngest PD of Infinite Challenge.
Kang Ha-neul is also continuing to create good examples. Kang Ha-neul gifted an air conditioner when he heard that a staff member he met at a café worked there because he didn’t have any air conditioner at home even in hot weather. Referring to Kang Ha-neul, actor Jang Hyun-sung revealed Kang has sent him six coffee trucks so far even though they only worked together in a small movie. “He sent me lunch and dinner two times a day,” Jang revealed.
