Singer Park Eun-bin has been making constant efforts to build a solid filmography
Park Eun-bin, who presents a new image in every work, is proving her enthusiasm for challenges with the lead role of Seo Mok-ha, an aspiring singer who was rescued from a deserted island after 15 years, on tvN’s Sat-Sun drama “Castaway Diva”.
Having tried various genres in dramas such as “Hello, My Twenties!”, “Hot Stove League” and “Do You Like Brahms?”, Park Eun-bin then portrayed a female dressing like a man to become King Lee Hwi in the historical drama “The King’s Affection” and showcased her unlimited acting spectrum. As Lee Hwi, Park Eun-bin excellently performed not only intense political battles with those trying to disclose her secret but also the heart-fluttering romance with her first love Jung Ji-woon (Ro-woon) in her childhood. Winning Top Excellence Award, Best Couple and Popularity Award at the 2021 KBS Drama Award with this drama, Park Eun-bin certified that she made a successful acting challenge.
Park Eun-bin then gained huge love at the syndrome level after taking on the role of attorney Woo Young-woo, who has an autistic spectrum disorder, in the drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo”. As a result, she won Daesang in the TV Series category at the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards and further solidified her position as a trustworthy actress. Immersing herself in an autistic character, Park Eun-bin perfectly portrayed the pure and lovely personality of Woo Young-woo by pouring much effort into meticulous character analysis and detailed expressions of the character’s speeches, hand gestures, eyes, and way of walking. The actress’s transformation into Woo Young-woo was so impressive that viewers could recognize the value of her challenge.
The character Seo Mok-ha in her ongoing drama “Castaway Diva” is also drawing admiration from viewers. Back when she played a college student majoring in violin in “Do You Like Brahms?”, Park Eun-bin practiced the violin passionately to the point of having calluses on her hands. In this new work, she tried to become a singer and once again surprised drama fans with her perfect performances as Seo Mok-ha. It is known that Park Eun-bin spent 7-10 hours practicing and doing recordings on days without drama shoots and even tried to sing with her real voice.
