Actress Lee Chae-young, Who Suddenly Disappeared, Reveals Her Unavoidable Circumstances “My Body and Mind Fell Ill”

On Feb 26th, Lee Chae-young took time to communicate with fans through her Instagram Story.
In response to a fan message saying “Chae-young, please stop traveling and get back to work. I miss you“, she honestly shared her current situation.

She began by revealing, “In 2023, I overworked myself, taking on too many projects, which led to minor illnesses in both my body and mind.”
She continued, “So last year, I only completed my pre-scheduled work and stepped down from the programs I was involved in to take some personal time. Through this process, I realized that health and happiness are the most important things in life.”

Lee Chae-young then reassured her fans, “I am cherishing my life, and even if I may not be visible right now, I am diligently navigating various aspects of my life. Please understand a little.”
Regarding what she has learned from traveling during her hiatus, she shared, “I realized that the direction of life is broad.“
When asked for travel recommendations, she advised, “Go to a place that holds value in fulfilling your desires. For me, I love Guy de Maupassant, so I went to Paris; I love jazz, so I went to New Orleans, the home of jazz.“

Meanwhile, Lee Chae-young made her debut in the 2007 drama “Witch Yoo Hee” and has appeared in various works such as “Wife Returns”, “My Strange Hero”, “Home for Summer”, “Man in a Veil” and “Woman in a Veil”.
In January last year, she stepped down from her regular appearance on SBS’s variety show “Kick a Goal” and has not been involved in any notable activities since.
