In a statement released on December 6, ADOR explained, “Recently, an employee responsible for artist management directly contacted an advertiser and attempted to arrange a contract between the artist and the brand without involving the company.”

The company characterized this as a serious act of misconduct that facilitates a violation of the artist’s exclusive contract.

ADOR further stated, “We immediately launched an investigation and provided the employee ample opportunity to explain their actions. However, the employee responded with false statements that contradicted clear evidence and failed to cooperate with the investigation.”

The company elaborated, “We had no choice but to place the employee on standby and request the return of the company-owned laptop. During this process, no coercive acts took place.”

ADOR also noted, “On the contrary, the employee delayed returning the laptop for several hours, offering various excuses, and eventually returned it in a fully reset, formatted state.

The company emphasized its intent to conduct a thorough investigation and take necessary legal action.

Previously, an ADOR employee alleged that the company demanded that managers hand over their personal phones and laptops and even forcibly kept them in the office for over three hours, preventing them from going home.
