
aespa achieved remarkable success at the 22nd Korean Music Awards, securing top honors in multiple categories.

The awards ceremony was held on February 27 at EQL Seongsu in Seoul. In the major categories, Danpyunsun and the Sailors won “Album of the Year,” aespa’s “Supernova” was crowned “Song of the Year,” Lee Seung Yoon was named “Musician of the Year,” and Sanmanhan received the “Rookie of the Year” title.
Both aespa and Lee Seung Yoon stood out by winning not just in the general categories but also in two additional genre-specific awards, each earning a triple crown. aespa took home “Best K-Pop Album” and “Best K-Pop Song,” while Lee Seung Yoon secured “Best Rock Song” and “Best Modern Rock Song.”
Meanwhile, Danpyunsun and the Sailors won “Album of the Year” and also claimed “Best Modern Rock Album” for their full-length release Eureka.

The “Musician of the Year” nominees included aespa, Rose, Lee Seung Yoon, Danpyunsun and the Sailors, and Silica Gel. The “Song of the Year” category featured “Independent” by Danpyunsun and the Sailors, “APT” by Rose, “Bam Yang Gang” by BIBI, “WHY, WHY, WHY” by SUMIN & Slom, and “Supernova” by aespa.

For “Album of the Year,” the nominees were Danpyunsun and the Sailors, SUMIN & Slom, aespa, HYUKOH, and Silica Gel. The “Rookie of the Year” category included Sanmanhan, SamSan, ILLIT, TWS, Hyelyn Joo, and meeroo choi.
In addition, John Park made a strong comeback by winning Best Pop Album with “PSST!” – his first full-length album in 11 years. G-Dragon also received Best Rap & Hip-Hop Song for “Power.”
