“Supernova,” written and composed by hitmaker Kenzie, is a dance song featuring a minimal track sound based on heavy kicks and bass. The catchy topline and synth melody set it apart from any other song currently in the K-pop industry. Beyond freshness, it is equipped with novelty, expanding beyond aespa’s existing worldview into a broader universe. The lyrics, which compare the start of an event that opens the door to another dimension to a supernova, convey the beginning of an inner explosion in a hip mood.

On the other hand, aespa will begin their comeback activities on the 27th with the release of another double title track, “Armageddon.” This song is a hip-hop dance track featuring a strong synth bass sound and an old-school yet trendy track. The lyrics convey an empowering message of “I alone can define myself” and showcase a rough yet controlled vocal tone.
