In a recent appearance on Hal Myung Soo, aespa’s Winter revealed a surprising detail about her daily life she often walks around Seoul without a mask, and most people don’t even recognize her.
The July 4 episode featured Winter joining comedian Park Myung Soo for a segment titled “Delivery Bread”, where they reviewed popular breads from across the country. Before diving into the tasting, Winter gushed, “I really love bread, especially sweet ones.” The two quickly bonded over their mutual love for financiers, madeleines, and canelés, dubbing themselves “bread buddies.”
Park Myung Soo then asked if she ever roamed places like Seongsu-dong in disguise, given that SM Entertainment’s office is located there. “Do you wear a cap and mask to sneak around?” he asked.
To everyone’s surprise, Winter casually responded, “I don’t usually wear a mask. People don’t recognize me anyway.” She added, “I just enjoy walking. I often go out with no destination in mind, or just sit somewhere alone. That’s my thing.”
When asked about her favorite hidden bakery, Winter playfully declined to reveal it: “I can’t share it’s my secret spot.” However, she did name melon bread sold in Japanese subway stations as her top choice, catching the attention of fans with her unique pick.
