aespa’s Winter & Giselle Almost Attacked Before Fansign? Poor Security Throughout Event

Previously on December 14, aespa arrived in Shanghai, China, to attend an offline fansign. 

However, despite the fansigh’s location being disclosed to only the winning fans, aespa was surrounded by a crowd of people taking photos and videos as they arrived at the event venue. 

There were staff members and security assisting the members, yet footage showed that a person bypassed security and rushed towards aespa’s Winter and Giselle, spooking the members. 

Upon seeing this footage, many fans expressed their worries, especially as Winter faced verbal harassment at the hotel earlier on the same day due to rumors of her dating ENHYPEN’s Jungwon.

Some also pointed out the “incompetence” of the security team, insisting that the security members just stood blankly in front of aespa’s car and didn’t provide much protection. 

Meanwhile, others showed confusion over the intention of the person bypassing security, questioning his motive and plan for approaching the members. 

Additionally, it was said that during the “Say Hi” section of the fansign, an attendee set off firecrackers and scared the members, raising serious questions about the level of security at the event.
