On December 8, the YouTube channel “GQ KOREA” uploaded a video with aespa’s Winter

In the video, Winter shared the phrases she used most frequently this year, saying, “To be honest, realistically speaking, (it is) ‘What’s for dinner today?’ and what else…. ‘What time are we leaving tomorrow?’”.

According to Winter, she also used the word “unnie” (older sister) a lot, since the manager of aespa, as well as two other members in the group, are older sisters to the female idol.

When asked about her “Winter-style thinking,” she admitted, “Honestly, I don’t think I’m a very optimistic person. When you’re optimistic, You can end up feeling disappointed often, right? Personally, that’s how I feel.”

“Though everyone’s different, some people might find being optimistic easier, but for me, if I think positively about something, and it falls short of my expectations, I feel disappointed. So, I try to be realistic. Not overly negative, but just I try to think as realistically as possible”, the female idol added.

According to the aespa member, she’s a foodie and she often eat delicious things alone, stating, “There’s also a kind of comfort in eating alone. So, when I go back to my dorm, at my own pace, I eat my favorite foods, turn on something entertaining, enjoy delicious and sweet things, and relieve stress like that.”

Finally, when asked what message she would give to herself at the end of 2024, Winter expressed that her birthday is on the 1st of January, so she’d wish herself an early birthday.
