Alice’s Sohee shares thoughts on marriage and retirement “I will live my second life well”
On April 26th, Sohee posted on her Instagram, “Since debuting with Alice in 2017, I have received love from fans and have grown up to be 26 years old now.” She announced the news of her marriage, “During this time, I met someone who became a great support for me. Now, we have become so precious to each other that I promised to marry him.“
She continued, “While I am happy to share this news, on the other hand, I am sorry to the fans, friends and acquaintances who may have been surprised by this sudden announcement.”
She added, “Now, I will live my second life as Kim Sohee, not Alice’s Sohee. I will live happily so that you don’t have to worry, as much as you have loved me. Thank you so much for your love during my entertainment career. I was truly happy. I will never forget this feeling and live my life with gratitude.”
Sohee, who has been dating a businessman 15 years older than her for a year, will get married and retire from the entertainment industry at the same time. According to initial reports, Sohee will register her marriage next month and hold a small wedding ceremony within the year.
Sohee is known for being a contestant of SBS’s “K-pop Star 6: The Last Chance” (2017), in which she emerged as runner-up. She debuted with the group Alice in the same year. Since releasing a new song in April last year, Alice has not been active.
