Accordingly, a funeral home will be set up at Samsung Seoul Hospital Funeral Hall starting on the 14th, and the funeral will be held on the 16th.
Regarding the change in their decision, the bereaved family explained, “The family is in such great sorrow that we decided to hold a quiet funeral with only the family members out of concern for the health of our mother, who loved our brother more than anyone else. However, we thought it would be polite to provide a time and place for the many people who remembered and loved our brother to remember and bid farewell to singer Wheesung, so we are planning to hold the funeral home, even if it is late.”
Finally, Wheesung’s brother added, “To everyone who knew my brother, and to those who have memories of being happy because of my brother’s songs and music while he was alive, please feel free to visit the funeral home and come with us so that my brother doesn’t feel lonely on his way out. I would be grateful.”
Meanwhile, previously on March 11, it was announced that the family of late singer Wheesung will be postponing his funeral. In particular, the singer’s agency stated, “We are unable to proceed with the funeral due to the great shock and sadness of the bereaved family due to the sudden sad news”, adding, “The bereaved family plans to proceed with the funeral as they feel better, and the funeral will be held quietly with only family, relatives, and acquaintances in attendance, according to the bereaved family’s wishes.”
