An Unprecedented Record

After a 3-year wait, “Arcane” has finally concluded season 2. Despite the ending sparking mixed reactions, there is no denying that Riot Games has created an exceptional series. Some even argue that “Arcane” might be the greatest TV series ever produced to date.

In fact, this TV series previously surpassed “Squid Game” to become Netflix’s most-watched show.

"Arcane 2" stands as the only TV series season to achieve a consistent IMDb rating exceeding 9.0 across all episodes.

“Arcane 2” stands as the only TV series season to achieve a consistent IMDb rating exceeding 9.0 across all episodes.

This claim is not without merit, as “Arcane 2” has been met with overwhelmingly positive reception. Recent reports confirm that it is the only TV series to have an entire season where every episode scores above 9.0 on IMDb. These ratings reflect the latest user reviews compiled on the platform.

Mixed Reactions from the Audience

However, this record has sparked debates among the community. Critics point out that other masterpieces, such as the series “Chernobyl”, have achieved similarly high ratings. The disagreement arises because the two shows fall under different categories, leading to a divide in opinions.

Nevertheless, “Arcane 2” has lived up to the expectations of the gaming community over the past three years. It not only masterfully handled the complex narrative of the conflicts between Piltover and Zaun but also established a strong foundation for Riot to expand into future projects.
