OH MY GIRL’s Arin Stuns Fans with Shocking Transformation for New Thriller S-Line
On June 30, streaming platform Wavve unveiled the first character stills of Arin from its exclusive fantasy thriller series S-Line, which is set to premiere on July 11. The six-episode drama will be released in batches of two episodes over three consecutive weeks (July 11, 18, and 25).
In the newly released images, Arin shocks viewers with a dramatic short haircut, a sharp contrast to her previous long, flowing locks. She also appears nearly makeup-free, evoking a mysterious and ethereal atmosphere that hints at the dark themes of the series.
S-Line tells the story of a world where the “S-Line”—a red string visible only to certain individuals—connects those who have been sexually intimate. As the existence of this mysterious connection becomes known, hidden truths and forbidden desires begin to unravel.
Arin plays the role of Hyun-heup, a girl born with the unique ability to see the “S-Line.” Because of her extraordinary gift, she lives a reclusive life, isolated from the world. However, her quiet existence is shattered when she witnesses a shocking murder.
Haunted by the suspicious events unfolding around her, Hyun-heup becomes the sole witness to the crime and collaborates with detective Ji-wook to uncover the truth. As the story progresses, she relentlessly questions the meaning of the “S-Line” that she has been able to see since birth.
Joining Arin in the cast are actors Lee Soo-hyuk, Lee Da-hee, and Lee Eun-saem, adding further star power to the gripping thriller.
Arin debuted in 2015 as the lovable youngest member of OH MY GIRL and quickly gained widespread popularity for her sweet and innocent image. She has since expanded her repertoire as an actress, with roles in tvN’s Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow and the NaverTV web drama Girl’s World.
