On the birthday of ASTRO’s Moonbin, his friends and colleagues are paying tribute to him in their own way
On January 26th, ASTRO’s MJ posted a photo taken with the late member Moonbin on his SNS account with the message, “Our Bin~ Happy birthday. I love you and miss you a lot, my brother. This is MJ hyung writing”.
JinJin released a two-shot photo with Moonbin. In his caption, he said, “Bin ah, happy birthday!! How are you?? I miss you even more today!! I’m working hard and living well these days!! I’m living with the thought that you’re watching me. Are you eating well and taking a lot of rest? Make sure to eat seaweed soup today. I just realized that we didn’t have many photos together. I should have taken many photos with you. I hope you’re happier than anyone else today. I love you, my brother.” Sanha also posted “Happy birthday big bro” on his Instagram.
Early in the morning, Cha Eun-woo published a video in remembrance of Moonbin. In the video, he played the piano and sang SLANDER’s “Love Is Gone”. At the end of the video, Cha Eun-woo added a short clip and some photos of his memories with Moonbin. A few hours later, the singer-actor posted on SNS, saying “Thank you for coming to my dream. Happy birthday. Bin ah Bin ah”.
SEVENTEEN members who were close to Moonbin also dedicated their special wishes to the late male idol.
First of all, Woozi suddenly released the song “What Kind of Future” that Moonbin liked so much when he was alive. In the past, Woozi shared, “You said you wanted to listen to the song when I released it. I’ll take care of it. I’ll fight with the company and release it. I’ll let you hear it on your birthday no matter what”.
At midnight of January 26th, “What Kind of Future”, written, composed, and arranged by Woozi, was released on all music sites. Keeping his promise to Moonbin, Woozi wrote in the song introduction, saying “I’ll never forget your loving smile, in any future”.
