“At My Funeral…” Late Song Jae-rim’s Past Interview Resurfaces After News of His Passing

In a previous interview on the YouTube channel “MK Studio”, Song Jae-rim shared various stories with actresses Lee Yoon-ji and Kim Hwan-hee, his co-stars in the movie “Good Morning”.
“Good Morning” is a human drama film set in the backdrop of a hospice department where different people have different stories and depicts what happens when a girl who awaits her death comes in.
At that time, when asked about his “bucket list”, Song Jae-rim shared, “It may sound a bit flashy, but I’d like champagne to be popped at my funeral. Having a festive-like funeral is on my bucket list.“
When asked who he would think of first at the brink of death, he replied, “Probably my parents. I can’t go before they do.”

These remarks are once again drawing attention following the news of Song Jae-rim’s passing, leaving many with a heavy heart.
So far, no evidence of foul play has been found, and a suicide note was reportedly discovered at the scene.
The sudden news has sparked waves of mourning across the entertainment industry.
Actor Park Ho-san shared a photo taken with Song Jae-rim, expressing, “This is driving me crazy, really. Jae-rim, you were always so bright; I can’t believe it. I’m sorry, for not keeping in touch, for not looking out for you. I’m truly sorry.”
Broadcaster Hong Seok-cheon shared a photo of the late actor’s bright smile, saying, “I’m heartbroken that I’ll never see this wonderful smile again. I regret that I couldn’t take better care of you or even say goodbye.” He added, “I’m sorry, truly sorry. I failed as an older brother. Rest in peace.“

Song Jae-rim’s funeral is being held in Room 2 of The Catholic University of Korea Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital Funeral Hall, with the final service set for November 14.
