Previously on May 13, a parent of a NewJeans member gave an interview to the media amid high tensions between HYBE and ADOR.
In the interview, the parent, referred to as A, mentioned that HYBE CEO Bang Si-hyuk ignored the NewJeans members’ greetings every time they met him at the company, making the members feel ignored and awkward, especially in the elevator, as if they were deliberately avoided.
In response to these claims, a HYBE representative told Chosun.com, “We have no official comment.”
Meanwhile, when asked whether it was true that Chairman Bang did not acknowledge the NewJeans members’ greetings, the representative said, “It’s difficult to respond.”
At the same time, HYBE also revealed in an official statement that Bang Si-hyuk has facial recognition disorder (facial blindness), as if to make an excuse for Bang Si-hyuk ignoring NewJeans.
