Singer and actress BIBI opened up about her emotional journey and the transformative love she received from the public last year, during her appearance on the May 16 episode of KBS2TV’s The Seasons: Park Bo-gum’s Cantabile.

Back after two and a half years with her second full-length album, BIBI engaged in a heartfelt conversation with host Park Bo-gum, reflecting on what has been a career-defining year. Park Bo-gum noted her sweeping success in 2023 topping music charts with her breakout hit Bam Yang Gang, winning Best New Actress for the film Hopeless at the Baeksang Arts Awards, and clinching the Excellence Award for her role in The Fiery Priest 2 at the SBS Drama Awards.

When asked how she felt about the whirlwind year, BIBI responded candidly, “Honestly, it doesn’t feel real. It’s like I watched a movie of someone else’s life. I received so much love for both singing and acting—it’s strange how the inferiority complex that shadowed me all my life melted away like snow.”
