On December 13, 2NE1’s CL appeared as a guest on the YouTube channel of BIGBANG’s Daesung, “ZIP DAESUNG.” In the video, titled “Let’s Hang Out Like This Until We’re 60 | I’ll Be a Grandma!!”, Daesung mentioned 2NE1’s reunion concert, saying, “It’s been a long time since four of you gathered. And from what I know… Someone’s been skipping practice a lot.”
As CL expressed awkwardness, however, Daesung corrected himself and lifted the atmosphere by saying, “But I heard you… Practiced daily.”
The male idol then disclosed that he went to the same salon as 2NE1’s Dara, saying, “I saw her there every time, so I asked, ‘How’s concert prep going?’, and she was like, “I feel like a machine…”
Hearing this, CL responded, “They were intense… We practiced daily for three months. Even on Thanksgiving.”
Afterward, Daesung moved the topic to 2NE1’s Minzy, who he has been talking to about a lot of things. According to the male idol, he apologized to her, referring to a controversial remark he once made.
“You totally deserve this! That was not nice of you, sir”, CL said in response, to which Daesung reinstated, “I’m so sorry. That was inappropriate.”
On the other hand, Daesung had previously appeared on the YouTube program “The PSICK SHOW” in February. At the time, Daesung was asked to pick a 2NE1 member who could be removed and chose Minzy, which caused a controversy.
