K-drama Bitch x Rich 2 is making waves across OTT platforms following its July 3 release, securing top rankings on Netflix, Wavve, and TVING. The sequel to the 2023 hit returns with an intense blend of teen romance, psychological thriller, and fierce power struggles at Korea’s most elite high school.

Building on the first season’s shocking cliffhangers, the new season sees Kim Hye-in (played by Lee Eun-saem) rise as the first underprivileged member of the exclusive “Diamond Six,” while former queen Baek Je-na (Kim Ye-rim) faces a dramatic downfall.

Season 2 explores the cost of ambition and the meaning of loyalty as the two rivals once again stand at the center of scandal, secrets, and survival. Since its debut, Bitch x Rich 2 has ranked fourth on Netflix Korea, third on Wavve, and fourth on TVING.

Internationally, it claimed the top spot on Japan’s ABEMA TV under “Korean-Chinese Programs” and ranked third in Taiwan’s friDay Video drama category, reflecting growing global interest.

The storyline picks up from Season 1’s bombshell reveal involving a tragic fall and a secret video. As another mysterious incident unfolds, Hye-in becomes both a witness and a suspect, stirring panic at the school. A wave of bullying and intrigue follows, with new student Lee Sa-rang (Won Kyu-bin) stepping in to support her, hinting at a budding romance.

Season 2 introduces several game-changing characters. Kim Min-kyu joins as transfer student Cha Jin-wook, who becomes Je-na’s fiancé, while Oh Ji-ho plays the ambitious new chairman, Seo Hee-kwon.

These new figures each harbor secret agendas, ready to tip the delicate balance of power in unpredictable directions. As expected from a high-teen series, romance simmers beneath the surface. From Sa-rang’s endearing loyalty to Jin-wook’s complicated engagement and Seo Do-eon’s lingering feelings for Hye-in, relationships add both tension and warmth to the otherwise cutthroat narrative.

Now streaming on Netflix, Wavve, TVING, and airing on MBN, Bitch x Rich 2 is quickly becoming one of the most talked-about Korean dramas this summer.
