Revisiting the Success of BORN PINK World Tour

With their “BORN PINK” album, BLACKPINK embarked on a global tour that lasted from October 2022 to September 2023, covering 23 countries. Just 2 months after kicking off the tour, it recorded $78 million USD in earnings, eventually reaching a total revenue of $330 million USD , making it the highest-grossing girl group tour in history. Globally, it ranked 6th among female artist tours in terms of revenue.

Following the tour, the members shifted focus to their solo activities. In late 2023, BLACKPINK signed exclusive contracts with YG Entertainment for group activities only, excluding solo endeavors. Since then, each member has either launched or joined new agencies for their individual careers.

Jennie, Jisoo, and Lisa create their own personal label, while Rosé signed an exclusive contract with THEBLACKLABEL, led by longtime collaborator and producer Teddy. Additionally, in terms of solo success, Rosé has achieved global success with the pre-release track “APT.” from her first solo album “rosie”, while Jisoo released “AMORTAGE”. Meanwhile, Jennie showcased her unique sound with “Ruby”, and Lisa actively released new music, including her recent album “Alter Ego”.

Moreover, BLACKPINK is set to officially kick off their 2025 World Tour on July 5–6 at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium. Presale for BLACKPINK’s Goyang concert began on May 8 at 8 PM KST.

This presale is exclusively for BLINK MEMBERSHIP (GLOBAL) holders and runs until May 11 at 11:59 PM KST. Only BLINKs who have completed membership verification are eligible to purchase tickets. General ticket sales for non-members began on May 15 at 8 PM KST. And now, sold out.

The upcoming tour will significantly expand in scale compared to the Seoul leg of the “BORN PINK” tour, offering a grander experience for their Korean fans.
