BLACKPINK Lisa Reveals Challenges After Starting Her Own Agency

On February 28, BLACKPINK Lisa unveiled her difficulties after founding her own agency, LLOUD, during an appearance on the YouTube channel “Zip Daesung”. In the video titled “BangPink in your Area Part 2 | Now There Are Only Two Left,” Lisa discussed various topics with Daesung.

Lisa shared her experience of establishing her own agency, LLOUD, last year and revealed the challenges she faces as a CEO. When asked by Daesung about what surprised her, she said, “The cost of music videos… it’s ridiculously expensive.”

Daesung mentioned the large-scale productions of BIGBANG and BLACKPINK at YG Entertainment, asking if they rented streets for the “Rockstar” music video. Lisa clarified, “We didn’t rent it. We went early in the morning when the rain had just stopped, and the reflection on the ground made the video look great with no people around.”

Lisa explained that the music video process involves the director creating the story, and she can make requests if she has ideas. When asked if she ever asks for discounts, she admitted, “Always. I always ask them to lower the price,” but noted that “the cost always ends up going over because we try to meet the expectations.”

Meanwhile, Lisa also released her first full album, “Alter Ego,” on February 28, and has performances lined up at the Oscars in March and Coachella in April.
