On February 20th, YG Entertainment released “BLACKPINK 2025 WORLD TOUR ANNOUNCEMENT” on BLACKPINK’s official SNS. The new poster contains the schedule for BLACKPINK’s new world tour in 2025 with various stops in Korea, North America, Europe and Japan.

According to this schedule, BLACKPINK will visit a total of 10 cities starting with the opening concerts in Seoul at Goyang Stadium on July 5th and 6th. After that, the girl group will meet fans in Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto & New York (US), Paris (France), Milan (Italy), Barcelona (Spain), London (UK), and Tokyo (Japan).

Further details have yet to be revealed, but the fact that all the venues selected for BLACKPINK’s world tour so far are stadium-level concert halls that can accommodate tens of thousands of people is arousing keen attention from fans and netizens. In particular, BLACKPINK is the first K-pop female artist to perform at the Wembley Stadium in London, known as the “dream stage” for singers in the UK. Additionally, their solo concert at Goyang Stadium is also a first for a K-pop girl group.

BLACKPINK will once again stand on the same stage with world-renowned musicians. The girl group is set to solidify their status as a top global group by performing at venues such as SoFi Stadium in LA, Soldier Field in Chicago, Rogers Centre in Toronto, Citi Field in New York, Stade de France in Paris, Ippodromo Snai La Maura in Milan, Estadi Olímpic in Barcelona, and Tokyo Dome in Japan.

In this regard, YG stated, “We are preparing a tour with an unprecedented scale and the best performances, comparable to the [BORN PINK] tour that wrote a new chapter in K-pop history,” and added, “Please look forward to additional locations and schedules that will be announced soon.”
Later, ticket sales details have now been unveiled. According to a poster released by YG Entertainment on April 8, presale tickets for the Goyang concert will be available via Interpark Ticket from May 8 at 8 PM KST to May 11 at 11:59 PM KST, exclusively for BLINK MEMBERSHIP holders on Weverse. General ticket sales will open to the public on May 15 at 8 PM KST.

Earlier on February 6th, YG Entertainment made an official announcement of BLACKPINK’s new world tour by releasing “BLACKPINK 2025 WORLD TOUR TEASER” on the group’s social media accounts. The highlight video released alongside the announcement captured electrifying moments from their past concerts, showcasing BLACKPINK’s explosive chemistry with BLINKs (their fandom) worldwide. From heartwarming smiles to emotional fan interactions, the footage reignited excitement for their upcoming tour.
This is the first time in a while that BLACKPINK signaled group activities since the wrap of their 2024 world tour “BORN PINK”.
In addition to the world tour, BLACKPINK’s comeback as a full team following the members’ solo promotions in the first half of this year is expected to create a craze worldwide. Rosé recently released her solo album “rosie” in December 2024 and hit big with “APT.” Jisoo will release her first mini album “AMORTAGE” on the 14th of this month, while Lisa will introduce her solo album “Alter Ego” on February 28th. Jennie is set to release her first solo full album “Ruby” on March 7th.

BLACKPINK’s world tour ‘BORN PINK,’ which was held in 34 cities worldwide from 2022 to 2023, has been made into a concert film. Following YG Entertainment‘s announcement, ‘BLACKPINK World Tour BORN PINK in Cinemas’ was released on to commemorate BLACKPINK’s 8th debut anniversary.
This film was shown in over 110 countries, the most ever for a girl group concert film, including South Korea, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

YG stated, “You will be able to experience once again the dazzling production and the overwhelming scale of the stage that elicited acclaim from fans worldwide, as well as the hit song performances and the intense atmosphere of the concert.” The film was screened in various formats such as ScreenX, 4DX, and Ultra 4DX.
BLACKPINK’s ‘BORN PINK’ world tour held 66 performances in 34 cities worldwide, attracting about 1.8 million spectators. This is the largest scale ever for a K-pop girl group world tour.
