Following Jennie’s establishment of her personal label, a new company for Jisoo’s solo activities has been unveiled
BLACKPINK, which celebrated its 7th anniversary last year, has been embroiled in various rumors about its contract renewal with YG Entertainment ahead of its expiration. Since its debut in 2016, BLACKPINK has grown and established itself as the world’s biggest girl group, drawing much attention to their future course of action.
As a result, after numerous discussions, the group signed an exclusive contract with YG Entertainment for group activities. However, both sides agreed not to proceed with a separate additional contract for the members’ individual activities.
As a result, fans are curious about how the four members would continue their solo activities. Jennie was the first to announce the establishment of her private label, opening the door to her solo activities.
Jennie recently officially announced the establishment of her personal label ODD ATELIER (OA) through her social media. OA is a personal label founded by Jennie last November. Its name means a space to create new things that draw attention. Through the label she created with her mother, Jennie is expected to continue her personal activities from this year.
Jisoo’s personal company was also reportedly established. A media outlet reported on January 2 that Jisoo will continue her activities under BioMom, an infant health functional food brand run by her brother.
In this regard, BioMom stated, “We don’t know about the CEO’s private business.” However, last month, BioMom announced the recruitment of experienced employees for a subsidiary company named “Blissoo” through a job searching site.
As Jennie and Jisoo announced their new start as soloists working with their family, expectations are also high for Rosé and Lisa’s individual activities. Attention is focusing on what kind of activities BLACKPINK will continue in 2024.
