It is reported that BLACKPINK’s Jennie has acquired a high-end villa in Hannam-dong for around 3.8 million USD
On November 14, Bizhankook reported that Jennie had purchased La Terrasse Hannam, a luxury villa located in UN Village in Hannam-dong, Seoul, paying the full amount of 5 billion won (3.8 million USD) in cash without needing a loan.
La Terrasse Hannam was completed in 2012, consisting of one building with three underground floors and three above-ground floors. It has 15 units with a real-use area ranging from 305 to 423 square meters. It is known for excellent security and privacy protection in Hannam-dong, where SHINee’s Key also lives.
The villa purchased by Jennie has a dedicated area of 244.97 square meters and a supplied area of 286 square meters, featuring 5 rooms and 3 bathrooms.
Jennie paid a contract deposit of 5 billion won, which is 10%, in February 2021, and after signing the sales contract, she paid the remaining 45 billion won 2 years and 5 months later.
Before moving to this place, Jennie resided in another luxury villa located within UN Village. The House is also home to Sean and Jung Hye-young, and singer Psy owns a unit as well. Jennie revealed her house through YouTube when she lived here.
Earlier, it was reported that Jennie generated approximately 105 billion won in revenue from the 26 performances of BLACKPINK’s world tour “BORN PINK” (reported by the US media Touring Data in April this year).
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK has been surrounded by rumors since August when the group’s exclusive contract with YG ended, and the announcement of contract renewal has not been made. There has been speculation that some members may leave YG and continue group activities.
YG has also stated that they are still discussing the contract with BLACKPINK.
