BLACKPINK’s Jennie Performs In Underwear Styling Despite Controversy Over Revealing Stage Costume

On March 15th, Jennie performed “The Ruby Experience”, a concert to commemorate the release of her first solo album “Ruby”, at Inspire Arena in Jung-gu, Incheon.
Earlier, Jennie became a hot topic because of her bold outfit at the concert held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on March 6th and 7th. During that concert, the female idol appeared in a white bodysuit with deep cuts and underwear-style shorts, exposing her sexy hip. Especially, the excessive exposure of Jennie’s top during the performance of “Filter” caused her to hold it with one hand while doing the choreography.

As such, Jennie decided to change her outfit for “Filter” in the following concert. This time, she wore a red sleeveless top with a zipper and shorts instead of the white bodysuit.
However, another outfit of Jennie sparked controversy. During the performance of “ZEN” and “Damn Right (feat. Childish Gambino, Kali Uchis)”, Jennie dressed up in an outfit reminding the audience of underwear. Her backup dancers also wore revealing outfits to match the concept of the stage.
“The Ruby Experience” is a concert where fans can listen to all 15 songs from Jennie’s first solo album “Ruby”. Starting with the performances at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on the 6th and 7th, she continued to perform at the Radio City Music Hall in New York on March 10th and ended the tour at Inspire Arena on the 15th.
