BLACKPINK’s Jennie to Comeback on International Girl’s Day, Female Power Concept?
On September 27, several images were published on BLACKPINK’s Jennie’s exclusive portal, rubies.jenn.ie.
While each of the images show nothing on its own, many fans noticed that they were connected and decided to rearrange the image like a puzzle, eventually showing Jennie’s hidden message.
In particular, the result image shows Jennie dressed in tights as well a white shirt and black bottom as she walked in a car park. The parking lot next to Jennie was lot 1011, leading to fans speculating that Jennie will be making her comeback on October 11.
Additionally, it was later noticed that October 11 is the International Girls’ Day, a date which aims to raise awareness on issues facing girls internationally.
Previously, Jennie also showed a prime example of women supporting women via her promotion campaign “CALLING ALL PRETTY GIRLS”, causing speculations to arise about Jennie’s comeback embracing a “female power concept”.
Jennie also expressed her desire to inspire young women in her interview with Harper’s Bazaar US, adding to the validity of the speculations.
