On January 23, a video titled “BLACKPINK’s Jisoo & Park Jeongmin Meet Zombies in Ruins of Seoul! | Coupang Play ‘Newtopia” was released on the YouTube channel Studio Chikachika.
In the video, Park Jung-min and Jisoo , who play the leading characters Jae-yoon and Young-joo of “Newtopia” respectively, shared behind-the-scenes stories.
Particularly, when Lee Su-ji asked, “Have you ever waited for your soldier boyfriend like Young-joo?”, Jisoo responded, “I’ve never experienced it in real life, so at first, I thought it wasn’t that big of a deal.”
She continued, “I heard from women who know how it feels that it makes them angry. Their boyfriends keep calling them when they have to work and keep begging them to call back. It’s been only a month at her new job, but her boyfriend kept calling her. She turned off her phone and called him back later. But by then, he was already upset.”
This statement of Jisoo has indirectly refuted all dating rumors of her in the past – as the alleged “dating partners” of Jisoo all went to the military.
On the other hand, Jisoo previously dated actor Ahn Bo-hyun, but the couple separated after just 2 months of public dating. While Ahn Bo-hyun has completed his military service, he did it way before the couple’s relationship started.
Additionally, there were rumors of Jisoo and Ahn Bo-hyun getting back together after breaking up, but these were never confirmed.
