BLACKPINK’s Jisoo Shares Her Take on Members’ Styles: “Rosé & Lisa Are Princesses, Jennie & I Are Natural”
On January 28, Jisoo appeared in the teaser for “Salon Drip 2,” released on the YouTube channel TEO.
When host Jang Do-yeon mentioned, “I heard that when you first joined the company, they said, ‘I’ve never seen anyone like you before,'” Jisoo coolly responded, “When they told me to lose weight, I said, ‘I like myself chubby.'”
She continued, “I always hold back, but then there are times when I suddenly think, ‘Why do I have to hold back?’ and get frustrated. Why should I even worry about it?”—showcasing her unique perspective.
When asked about her favorite character in the movie “Inside Out,” Jisoo replied, “Only Anger seemed normal to me,” revealing her unconventional way of thinking. When Jang Do-yeon brought up a past story, saying, “I heard you once ate newspaper and said it tasted okay?” Jisoo surprised everyone by casually responding, “It was delicious.”
Jisoo also shared her thoughts on her members’ styles. “There are members like Rosé and Lisa, who always dress up well. Jennie and I are more natural,” she said. “Jennie once said, ‘I’m just a regular person, but we have princesses here,’ so I told her, ‘It’s balanced, so it’s fine,'” making everyone laugh.
Hearing this, Jang Do-yeon reacted with amusement, saying, “Wow, I’ve never met someone like this before. I feel like I’d never get bored hanging out with Jisoo.”
