BLACKPINK’s Jisoo to Malicious Commenters “There Will Be No Leniency or Settlement!”
On Feb 5th, Jisoo’s agency BLISSOO posted an official statement on its website, declaring its firm stance against defamatory actions, including slander and the spread of false information targeting Jisoo. The agency emphasized that they will take strong legal action through a law firm.
The agency stated, “There have been continuous instances of malicious posts and comments spreading defamatory and false information regarding our artist Jisoo, which harm her reputation. In response, we are conducting our own monitoring and gathering of evidence in collaboration with a professional law firm, and we will take a firm stance against any actions that damage our artist’s reputation. Furthermore, we would like to inform you that there will be no leniency or settlement in this process.”
Additionally, BLISSOO expressed gratitude for fans’ continued reports, stating, “The reports we’ve been receiving from fans have been extremely helpful. We kindly ask for your continued support in submitting any further reports through our official accounts. We will continue to make every effort to protect not only our artist but also the fans who love Jisoo, so that they are not harmed in any way.”
Meanwhile, Jisoo is set to make her comeback on Feb 14th with her new mini-album “AMORTAGE”.
