BLACKPINK’s Lisa Unveils 3 Alter Egos for Solo Album, Excites Fans with Unique Styles
Previously on November 19, Lisa surprised fans by announcing her first solo album, “Alter Ego”, set to release on February 28, 2025. The album will feature 12 tracks and has 5 different versions, represented by 5 different “alter egos”.
On January 8, the 1st “alter ego” for Lisa’s solo album, “Roxi”, was unveiled. According to latest updates, details regarding “Roxi” (or “Rock ‘N Roxi”), are as below.

On the other hand, Lisa’s album schedules previously raised concerns among fans, as YG Entertainment previously stated in September that BLACKPINK would release an album and go on tour in 2025. However, with each member up in their ears about solo projects, fans worry that the group’s return may face risks of day.
Regarding this situation, fans left comments such as following:
- BLACKPINK took a year off for solo careers but Jennie and Lisa didn’t release their albums during that time. At this rate, just how will we get a BLACKPINK comeback next year?

However, some people remain unbothered, citing Lisa’s previous remarks in her interview with Billboard. Basically, Lisa confirmed BLACKPINK’s plan for a group comeback, but express doubt when plans for a world tour was mentioned.
Meanwhile, Alice Kang, Lisa’s close friend and staff member at her personal company, LLOUD, later added, “I don’t know. We’ll have to wait and see what YG confirms.”
On the other hand, the last time BLACKPINK appeared together publicly was on August 9, at the press event for the “BLACKPINK World Tour: Born Pink in Cinemas” documentary in Seoul. The day before, the group held a private fan meeting to celebrate their 8th anniversary.
Overall, fans are increasingly concerned that the members’ focus on solo careers might push BLACKPINK’s group activities further into the future, leaving the group’s long-term trajectory uncertain.
