BLACKPINK’s Rosé Discusses Marriage, “Why is that the Status Quo for Being Happy”?

Recently on November 28, a video titled “Session 46: Rosé | Therapuss with Jake Shane” was published on the YouTube channel of American influencer Jake Shane. 

Here, the US personality and BLACKPINK’s Rosé had a chat, mentioning various topics including marriage and dating shows. 

In particular, when asked about the topic of marriage, Rosé questioned why people insisted that getting married is necessary for happiness, adding, “Getting married and getting a house, why is that the status quo of being happy? Some people have miserable experiences there and sometimes I feel like I’m so happy being a single girl”

The female idol also revealed that she loves watching dating shows, adding that she vastly prefers the Korean ones. According to Rosé, US shows like “Love Island” often have the contestants “making out and everything” on the first day, while for Korean ones, couples will hold hands for the first time in the last episode, giving her a better vibe. This preference of Rosé seems to fit her previous statement that she’s “very serious about dating”.

On the other hand, Rosé also discusses how she couldn’t help but read through negative comments, adding that the worst thing is when haters point out something that she has already thought about herself.
