On November 18, BLACKPINK’s Rosé’s interview with i-D magazine was revealed, revealing the female idol’s perspectives on various topics, including dating and criticisms from fans.

In particular, when asked if she used a dating app, Rosé quickly said “No comment”, and the fact that she was allowed to release a song inspired by a drinking-game, “APT.”, the female idol answered,“I think drinking is not bad. It’s more like… dating”, before quickly changing the subject.

Later on, when asked if she partakes in dating a lot, Rosé replied, “I’m like, more of a relationship-er, which is why people say ‘Rosie, you’re still so young’ – Like, I’m very serious about dating.”

Rosé’s comment about dating has since become a hot topic among fans, who brought back an old remark of the female idol and speculated on her dating experience.

In particular, back in 2022, Rosé, who watched Jisoo’s kiss scene in the K-drama “Snowdrop”, mentioned that “I don’t think it’s considered a kiss”, likely because it was just a peck.

I bet she’s a total expert kisser“, a fan said in retrospect, with many agreeing.

Additionally, Rosé also discussed the pressure she felt from her fanbase, saying, “[The criticism] keeps me up a lot, but it’s only because I love my fans so much. It does eat me alive. They can get impatient, which I totally understand, but at the end of the day, I’m human. When I feel misunderstood, I feel the most weak and sad.”

Rosé continued to express her sadness about being called “lazy”, expressing, “Anyone who calls me Rosie, who knows me as a friend or family, knows I am a workaholic”.

“I understand it can happen. I’m still, at the end of the day, just a 27-year-old girl trying to survive her 20s, and I’m still trying to figure myself out”, the female idol also shared, adding that criticism didn’t really bother her for the first few years of debut, but she woke up one day finding that it does affect her.

“I was like, ‘Wow, I’m human. I really am a vulnerable little girl’”, Rosé commented.

In the same interview, Rosé also mentioned her love for NewJeans and how she got Taylor Swift’s phone number.
