On November 28, a video tilted “Session 46: Rosé | Therapuss with Jake Shane” was published on the YouTube channel of American influencer Jake Shane.
Here, when Jake Shane mentioned that Rosé gets anxiety, the female idol affirmed this as she held up a squishy.
According to Rosé, she would use the squishy every time she’s in a meeting or in similar settings, adding that she “can’t work without it” due to anxiety.
“I just get anxiety, I don’t know if it’s ADHD, I don’t even know what it is, but like I need this and then if I have it in my hand, I feel like I can focus”, the BLACKPINK member confessed.
The female idol then went on to mention that her muscles would tense up and she would do weird things whenever she underwent these anxiety sessions.
Later, when asked if she has always had anxiety, Rosé replied, “I’ve only started noticing it, which is why I feel like it only started recently. I think it has gone really bad over these past few years.”
“I have anxiety and I’ll tell myself, I just need like 5 minutes. I need a squishy break. You know how people go for smoke breaks, I need a squishy break,” she added.

Continuing the topic of mental health, Rosé discussed how she kept reading negative comments and how they have taken a toll on her.
According to the female idol, she often finds herself in the “wrong part” of social media and sees comments that would ruin her day, yet just keeps scrolling and feeling worse the more she reads.
“I see a negative one and I’m like ‘that’s not true’, but the worst is when you read something that you’ve already thought about yourself, and you’re like ‘oh my God they notice it’”, Rosé expressed, adding, “The hater world is like weeds, if you don’t cut them they’ll grow.”
According to Rosé, the anger would get to her, she hated the negative comments to the point it felt disgusting and she ended up crying a lot.
In the end, Rosé would put her frustration into her songs, like “shedding it off”, and derive fun from the song-writing process.
