What to Expect from Boys II Planet K in 2025

A production team that previously created the fifth-generation boy group ZEROBASEONE through the hit series “Boys Planet” returns to steer this new project. Fans are hopeful that “BOYS II PLANET K” will follow in those successful footsteps and introduce the next wave of K-pop stars.

This season adds another twist: it brings together a rich mix of contestants—from idols who have already debuted, such as members of VERIVERY, WHIB and DKB, to fresh-faced trainees making their first public appearance. This diversity is expected to create dynamic performances and fierce competition.

DKB, an 8-member boy group under Brave Entertainment, debuted in 2020 and is known for its hip-hop-based performances and all-round self-production capabilities, including songwriting, composing, and choreography. The group gained attention by placing in the TOP 4 on JTBC’s 2023 survival show Peak Time.

Now, Heechan and Harry June are gearing up for another survival challenge on “BOYS II PLANET.” Earlier the same day, DKB’s official fan café announced that the two members would temporarily halt team activities starting May 10 due to personal reasons. The group will continue promotions as a 5-member unit for the time being.

As anticipation builds, fans and industry insiders alike are watching closely to see whether “BOYS II PLANET K” will give birth to the next K-pop sensation.
