Brother Slams Sulli’s Ex Choiza in Livestream: “He Caused Her a Lot of Pain”

In an emotional and revealing live broadcast on March 31, the older brother of the late singer and actress Sulli broke his silence about the pain his sister endured, addressing both her former boyfriend Choiza and the ongoing controversy surrounding actor Kim Soo Hyun.

Sulli’s brother, known publicly as Choi, launched the livestream ahead of Kim Soo Hyun’s scheduled press conference to address allegations of having had a relationship with actress Kim Sae Ron when she was still a minor.

During the livestream, a viewer asked Choi if Sulli had suffered because of her ex-boyfriend, Dynamic Duo rapper Choiza. To this, his response was direct, “Did Choiza make things hard for her? Yes. A lot. But since it was a private romantic relationship, I’ve avoided discussing it. Still, even in terms of personal feelings, he did many things wrong.”

Choi went on to speak about people in the entertainment industry who had been supportive of Sulli during her life. “Artistically and emotionally, I believe IU helped her more than anyone else,” he shared, acknowledging the long-standing friendship between the two stars.

This public statement follows a recent wave of criticism directed at Kim Soo Hyun after Kim Sae Ron’s family revealed alleged messages and letters suggesting the actor had an inappropriate relationship with her beginning when she was just 15 years old. Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, has denied the allegations, insisting that the relationship only began in 2019, after Kim Sae Ron reached adulthood.

Meanwhile, Sulli’s brother recently made several claims, demanding Kim Soo Hyun and the director of the 2017 movie “Real” to speaking up about the issues revolving around Sulli’s nude scenes. He also revealed that the experience on “Real” left the late idol-actress emotionally traumatized, stating that after “Real“, Sulli said she’d never act in a film again.

Kim Soo Hyun, on the other hand, is embroiled in a controversy over his private life, as the family of late actress Kim Sae Ron accused them of being in a relationship since Kim Sae Ron was a minor. In response, Kim Soo Hyun is set to hold a press conference on March 31 to answer to all allegations.
