Brown Eyed Girls’ Gain Spotted After 5 Years Since Propofol Fine “A Dramatically Changed Atmosphere”
On September 18th, Brown Eyed Girls‘ JeA shared a photo with Gain on her official account, writing, “Thank you to our youngest for suddenly showing up at my birthday party!“
JeA added, “There were so many great memories yesterday, I’m not sure how to organize them all. I’ll be uploading videos and photos carefully and beautifully. It was a continuous string of happy moments. Thank you to everyone who celebrated with me, I love you all.“
Singer Jo Kwon commented, “I also ran into Gain unexpectantly! Happy birthday, sis.”
JeA tagged Gain’s official account alongside the post, but Gain has not been active on social media since April 2020. The photo capturing her recent appearance attracted attention due to her noticeably different atmosphere.
Meanwhile, Gain was fined ₩1 million in 2019 for illegally administering propofol at a location in Gyeonggi Province. She was issued the fine through a summary indictment.
After a period of self-reflection, Gain returned to broadcast activities in June this year as a guest on KFN Radio’s “Miryo’s Freestyle”. This marked the first time in five years that all the Brown Eyed Girls members appeared together on a show since 2019, making it a hot topic.
On the radio show, Gain shared about her current life, “I’m still continuing my diet. I’m maintaining it with proper meals. While nothing is concrete yet, I’m trying to present a good appearance to everyone as soon as possible.”
When Miryo hinted at a potential solo project by asking “Solo?“, Gain replied, “Although nothing is specific, I’m working hard on various fronts, both physically and in terms of my appearance, to show you all something good. I’ve been trying a lot of different things, and this time I even tried perming my hair.”
