BTS dominated first half of the year on Circle Chart “35 songs making it onto the chart”

According to the 2024 first-half Global K-pop Chart released by Circle Chart on July 12th, BTS secured a whopping 35 songs on the chart through their group and solo activities. They showcased their overwhelming presence on the chart, which is based on global K-pop streaming usage, reaffirming their global popularity. Not only group songs but also solo tracks from all seven members ranked high.

BTS’s entries in the 2024 first-half Global K-pop Chart include “Dynamite”, “Butter”, “Boy With Luv (Feat. Halsey)”, “FAKE LOVE”, “Spring Day”, “Permission to Dance”, “Run BTS”, “Life Goes On” and “Take Two” among others. Although there were no new group songs released this year, their older songs continue to be beloved, proving the timeless appeal of their music. Notably, “Spring Day” was released in 2017.

Jungkook achieved the feat of having the most solo songs (13) on the chart among solo artists. Ten out of the 11 tracks from his solo album “GOLDEN”, released in November last year, made it to the chart. Additionally, “Still With You”, “Standing Next to You – USHER Remix” and the fan song “Never Let Go” (released in June this year) also ranked.

V’s entries include “Slow Dancing”, the title track from his solo album “Layover” released in September last year, along with “Love Me Again”, “Rainy Days” and the digital single “FRI(END)S” released in March this year. Jimin placed on the chart with “Like Crazy”, the title track from his solo album “FACE” released in March last year, “Set Me Free Pt.2” and his solo single “Closer Than This” released last December.

RM’s solo entries include “LOST!”, the title track from his 2nd solo album “Right Place, Wrong Person” released in May this year, “Come back to me” and “Wild Flower (with youjeen)”, the title track from his first solo album “Indigo” released in December 2022.

Suga’s title track “Haegeum” from his album “D-DAY” released under the stage name Agust D in April 2023, Jin’s solo single “The Astronaut” released in October 2022 and J-Hope’s special album “HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1” title track “NEURON (with Gaeko, yoonmirae)” released in March this year also appeared on the first-half chart.

Additionally, “That That (prod. & feat. SUGA of BTS)” by PSY remained on the chart.
