D-10 to BTS Jimin’s Military Discharge: Fans Celebrate with Burgers, Donuts, and Global Events from Korea to Hungary
BTS’s Jimin is scheduled to be discharged on June 11, and fanbases such as JiminRecord, ItsJimin, and VFJ have organized a special ad balloon event near the 5th Division, where Jimin is serving.
The giant balloon emblazoned with “JIMIN” will be accompanied by a banner that reads:
“The small pause that stopped—now the day we become one again. Always with Jimin.”
The fanbase JiminData has also prepared 15 large banners with warm welcome messages, to be placed in front of the military base to express their love and support.
Fans aren’t stopping at banners, numerous giveaways and kindness campaigns are also being held:
- Jimin Apple Music Team and PJM Hungary will gift 500 facial masks to soldiers from June 6 to 11, along with discharge-themed magnets and postcards.
- A Jimin-themed quiz will award Dunkin’ Donuts coupons to winners.
Meanwhile, the Park Jimin Preservation Society is offering free food for uniformed soldiers from June 5 to 7, including:
- 300 burger sets (bulgogi and chicken burgers) from Lotteria.
- A heartwarming message banner expressing fans’ feelings toward Jimin.
- A local café in Yeoncheon will also provide free drinks to soldiers in uniform starting June 5 until supplies last.
Due to high demand from fans around the world, Jimin Apple Music Team has also installed 35 additional banners, designed by international fans, around the base area from May 28 to June 11.
These events, spanning from South Korea to Hungary, demonstrate the unwavering love and anticipation fans feel as they count down the days to Jimin’s return. His global fanbase continues to make his discharge a celebration to remember.
