In the photos, Jin is seen wearing a raincoat, while Chris Martin fearlessly faces the storm in a soaked T-shirt, both deeply immersed in checking their stage synergy. The surprise moment happened during Coldplay’s third night in Korea, held at Goyang Stadium on April 19. During the fan interaction segment “Songbook,” Jin made a playful yet heartfelt request with a sign that read: “My bro, can I sing ‘The Astronaut’ with you? Pick me plz.”
Chris Martin, upon seeing Jin, immediately knelt before him in recognition, to which Jin responded by bowing deeply. The two then performed “The Astronaut” together, followed by “My Universe,” their 2021 hit that first brought the two global acts together.
“The Astronaut” holds special meaning, as it marks Jin’s solo debut — a song co-written and composed by Coldplay for him.
