BTS’s Jin Crowned “Hardworking Icon” with Variety Charm, New Album, and Global Fan Tour

After completing his military service, BTS’s Jin is back in full force—balancing music and entertainment with such passion that fans have dubbed him the ultimate “hardworking icon.” From delighting viewers on Netflix’s quirky reality show Kian’s Bizarre B&B to preparing a brand-new mini-album and fan tour, Jin is showing no signs of slowing down.

Jin on Kian’s Bizarre B&B: Emotion Anchor
On Kian’s Bizarre B&B, set on the scenic Ulleungdo Island, Jin joined host Kian84 and co-star Ji Ye-eun as they managed a whimsically absurd guesthouse. Far from the glamorous image of a global idol, Jin charmed viewers by cooking, cleaning, and offering warm, heartfelt support to guests navigating the strange setup—including a tricky pole staircase. Kian84 praised Jin as the “emotional anchor” of the show, commending his grounded presence and willingness to embrace even the most bizarre scenarios with grace and humor.

The show’s popularity soared thanks to Jin’s sincerity, placing him No. 1 in non-drama TV-OTT performer buzz for the third week of April, according to Good Data Corporation’s FUNdex report. Fans were thrilled to see not just the performer Jin but the person Kim Seok-jin, as he revealed a softer, genuine side on-screen.
New Album and Concert Tour
Now turning his focus back to music, Jin is set to release his second mini-album, Echo, on May 16. The album, which follows his solo debut, Happy, explores the emotional resonances of life through seven intimate tracks. Described as an honest and understated look into universal human experiences, Echo reflects Jin’s desire to reconnect with fans on a deeper level.

To celebrate, Jin will launch his first solo fan concert tour, titled #RunSeokjin_EP.Tour, beginning June 28–29 at Goyang Sports Complex Auxiliary Stadium in South Korea. The tour will span nine cities and 18 shows across Japan, the U.S., and Europe—including stops in Chiba, Osaka, Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, Newark, London, and Amsterdam.
With all BTS members currently enlisted—except Jin and J-Hope, who completed their service—ARMYs are cherishing every moment of Jin’s solo activities. His dedication is seen not only as a personal journey but also as a bridge to BTS’s long-awaited reunion, expected later this year.
