On April 29, BTS’s Jin replied to multiple fan comments as tickets for the Korean leg of his #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR went on general sale. Despite a staggering 99% booking rate, over 84,000 people were waiting in queue — a nearly unprecedented number for a solo idol concert.
Responding to a fan who shared a screenshot of the chaotic ticketing scene, Jin humbly wrote, “Wow, I didn’t realize Seokjinnie was this popular.” Even with global superstar status, he still manages to stay down-to-earth.

When another fan asked why the venue wasn’t bigger, Jin candidly admitted, “It was decided on a whim… There weren’t any big venues available. I barely managed to book this one. Totally my fault for not planning ahead.”
The comment only deepened fans’ affection for him, reinforcing his reputation as someone who listens to their requests — even when it means pulling together a concert on short notice.

One fan’s despairing post read, “I only see gray… no grapes (seats)…” to which Jin replied, “This was the biggest venue available at the time,ㅠㅠ” acknowledging their frustration with heartfelt sincerity.
In a lighthearted exchange, a fan begged for a bigger “앙콘 (ang-con)” — an encore concert — and Jin adorably asked, “What’s ang-con?” After being corrected, he laughed it off, saying he always thought it was “앵콘 (eng-con).” Fans were quick to joke, “If Jin calls it ang-con, then it’s ang-con!”

When asked if an encore concert would happen, Jin replied sadly, “There isn’t one…ㅠㅠ sorryㅠㅠ” — which only led to a flood of heartfelt pleas from fans begging for additional dates.
Meanwhile, the concert’s ticket sales were a resounding success, topping the charts on Interpark as the most sought-after event.
Jin’s global impact continues to grow. Fresh off his standout appearance in Netflix’s variety show Kian’s Bizarre B&B and guest performances at Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres tour, he’s now set to release his second mini-album Echo on May 16.

His fan concert world tour will kick off in Korea on June 28 and span 18 shows across 9 cities, including stops in Japan, the U.S., the U.K., and the Netherlands. Notably, Jin will become the first K-pop soloist to headline a concert at London’s O2 Arena — making history yet again.
