BTS Praised For Their Sincere Duties Amid Controversy Over Military Service Corruption Among Celebrities

Amid news of military service corruption among celebrities, BTS received compliments for their exemplary service

As BTS has begun taking a long hiatus for military service, the members are sincerely fulfilling their duties. From the eldest member Jin and J-Hope being promoted as special warriors, other members have also received commendations for their excellence during basic training. As such, BTS has proved that they are not only top stars but also “top-class” soldiers in the army.

Jin enlisted in December 2022, then J-Hope, Suga, RM, V, Jimin and Jungkook also enlisted sequentially.

First, Jin is currently serving as a military assistant. He made headlines when announcing that he was promoted early twice because of his outstanding performance and has become a special forces warrior. He received a big round of applause from the public for his sincerity in military service.

Aside from Jin, J-Hope is also an exemplary soldier with early promotion. In a photo released in November, J-Hope drew attention as he had been promoted to the rank of corporal and even wore a badge for the unit leader. This also proved that J-Hope is faithfully focusing on his missions in the army.

RM and V enlisted together last month and they recently created hot topics for their appearances at the training completion ceremony held on January 16th among elite trainees who received commendations. The two wore combat uniforms and showed a dignified posture when receiving the commendation. In the meantime, Jimin also received the same commendation at the training completion ceremony a day later, on the 17th. Starting with Jin, J-Hope, RM, V and Jimin have all become exemplary soldiers.

BTS’s applaudable achievements in the military are gaining even more attention as they completely contrast with the recent series of military service corruption found among celebrities. VIXX’s Ravi and rapper Nafla caused a stir for violating the Military Service Act as they fake medical diagnoses to be exempted from military service. Actor Song Deok-ho apologized for unfairly getting assigned as a social service worker with a Grade 4 medical certificate. In addition, former idol group member A was also found to have avoided military service by getting a fake diagnosis of intellectual disability.

Amid the public’s resentment over military service corruption, BTS’s sincere attitudes as exemplary idols and soldiers leave a strong impression.
